Hey there Karen,

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I keep my site up using many of the sponsored stuff out there and if you've build up an audience, you should be able to take advantage of them. I'm only a couple bucks away from my first ever pay out on SponsoredTweets and I've cashed out a few times on Mylikes so it's definitely possible to make some money off of them. Best of luck!!!

It seems to me that if the actual Twitter staff hasn't heard of you, then you're not worthy of verification... PFFT....
You have to be Kevin Spacey, Oprah, or NASA to get verified.

i made the verification process two weeks ago JUST FOR FUN :)
I got the exact same E-mail response like you. It's really like they write on the verify-FAQ-website only celebrities or important public persons (politicians and so on :)).
Did you know that not even the founder of Twitter are verified ;-)

I think it is looking great! I like the blue background that you see on your top posts and the only thing I'd suggest is making that a floating background so that when you scroll down the page, you can see it. Otherwise it is lovely.

I like it - the only things I'd suggest would be removing the toolbar at the bottom of the page, and moving the CMF Ads widget up a bit ;) Otherwise, the streamlining is pretty sweet.

Have to say I hate this comment system. Took me a minute to realize I could still type in a name and URL. I will never, ever, ever log in to leave a comment. You might as well give your passwords to a hacker. Same goes for those blogspot blogs that don't have the sense to change their comment options and think I'm going to log in to comment..

Hi John, thanks for commenting, these people don't realise that our hard work is also our bread and butter, that's why we have taken a lot of the free stuff down and only keeping free tracks etc. at ReverbNation and BandCamp..

Hi Karen..so glad to find this post..just saw the Pixieguts article last night too...
I have recently found the same problem upon simply searching myself on yahoo or google....there's a site that actually steals music from my own website and offers free downloads and ringtones...http://mp3realm.org....never heard of them or was associated in anyway!!...everyone should check there too...
